Welcome to Bhagavad Gita for the creative soul in this 18th episode titled Making Creativity Easily Accessible, Saurin is on a quest to discover the secrets of nurturing and maintaining a creative mindset so that he can consistently tap into the boundless creative energy within him.
00:01:23 Saurin
Imagine a well.
00:01:25 Saurin
The quality and quantity of the water in it will be dependent on the external sources that feed it.
00:01:32 Saurin
But that's one part of the equation. The size and state will also have a huge bearing. The cleaner and larger the well, the clearer and more abundant the water. On the flip side is stagnant, murky water and eventually a dried up well.
00:01:51 Saurin
Now replace water with creativity and the concept still holds.
00:01:56 Saurin
I may be surrounded by the finest ideas, inspirations, resources. Every person, object and event can overflow with creative potential just waiting to be tapped. However, if my mind is unprepared to receive and work with it, I'll experience a creative drought. How then can I ensure?
00:02:17 Saurin
That my creative well stays sparkling and nourishing.

00:02:57 Sheetal
And remain consistently connected with me through yoga.
00:03:02 Sheetal
Find I am easily accessible. Oh Arjun.
00:03:08 Saurin
As I had mentioned in the previous.
00:03:10 Saurin
Episode Creative Energy is a manifestation of the universe that exists within all beings and all things. When I consistently focus my thoughts on creativity and maintain a strong connection to it through regular practice, I find that inspiration and ideas flow more easily. This leads to a smoother.
00:03:31 Saurin
And more fulfilling creative process. Now this might sound obvious, but the most valuable insights often evoke a quieter Oh yes. Rather than a sudden aha.
00:03:44 Saurin
Here are some actionable ideas.
00:03:47 Saurin
Daily reflection. I am planning a daily contemplative practice in which I consider my goals, values and ongoing creative projects. This could be a journal where I jot down my thoughts and ideas, track my progress, and capture those. Oh yes moments.
00:04:05 Saurin
Regular creative practice. Creating a consistent schedule is critical.
00:04:10 Saurin
I continue to structure my weak to allocate time slots for all my ongoing and long term projects. Optimizing this remains work in progress since I account for the specific demands and timelines of each project while adding in flexibility to take care of my personal inspirations.
00:04:31 Saurin
Enhancing mindfulness and focus and striving to reduce distractions and interruptions and have recently started reading deep work by Cal Newport and revisiting exercises from The Power of now by Eckhart Tolle.
00:04:47 Saurin
Ongoing learning. I have dedicated a few minutes each day to learning something new.
00:04:54 Saurin
I would love to increase.
00:04:55 Saurin
It to a few hours.
00:04:56 Saurin
Each day but.
00:04:57 Saurin
Even 15 minutes is 15 minutes more than zero.
00:05:01 Saurin
As they say, it is the direction that matters more than the speed.
00:05:08 Saurin
physical health I've learned in a painful way that if I am unwell, my creative will will suffer.
00:05:15 Saurin
Bad puns aside, only a healthy body can support a healthy mind. Regular exercises, nutritious food, and sufficient rest are as critical to creativity as inspiration and imagination. Staying true to my vision, continuously reminding myself of my vision.
00:05:34 Saurin
And the reason for my creative pursuits helps me to get back on track each time. I digress. And I digress often.
00:05:43 Saurin
My creative well flows and slows like the tides of the sea up and down, back and forth, but I keep digging, keep clearing, keep pushing and universe willing it will never run dry. Thank you for your time and attention. The greatest gift you can give me.
